"Good comms on the phone before I arrived. Kindly suggested that I park at the secure NCP car park next door as there had been some theft recently, which was cheap enough. The room I was given had been smoked in (not the hotels fault) - the guys on the reception immediately swapped me to another room with no quibbling which was great. Hotel could do with a couple of touch ups, but it was clean and friendly and an absolute bargain compared to other options. Very good breakfast too"

"It’s the second time I have stayed there. It is very convenient, parking opposite rooms are a good size. Sadly I had a very noisy couple arguing above me which was extremely annoying but when I rang the front desk at 4am they dealt with it very quickly "

"This hotel has pleasant rooms, comfortable beds, well balanced breakfasts, helpful staff. The surroundings look like a bomb site. Parking was a challenge. The open air areas were fine but very limited. The covered areas required a lot of skill to manoeuvre the small confined spaces. Not good enough even though paid for parking. "

"It is set in beautiful grounds, part of the Nottingham University campus and we found it to be very quiet, almost serene. There is an outdoor sitting area overlooking a lake. It is slightly unusual in comparison to a regular hotel, the layout is obviously geared to meetings and conferences but not an issue. The reception area doubles up as a bar in the evening.
