People at the new location confirmed that they do this all the time. It is not a mistake but rather a scam. I left that second location and was lucky to find a nice hotel nearby for the same price. "The Swimming Pool was dirty and inusable. For me who travelled with a 1 year old and 4 year old baby, I found that its positioning, less than 3 meters from the door step of the room was extremely dangerous. This hotel offers bed and breakfast, but the breakfast was awful too. I decided to check out of the property the day after a night. When i asked the hotel to refund me for unused nights, the hotel declined to refund. In short, this place is not ideal for a family. Perhaps it can work for...

"I arrived after dinner, and they thought I was a no-show so they gave up my premium room. The next day they moved me to a nice room. The place itself is definitely not fancy. But the staff were all super nice and helpful. The people in Zanzibar are pretty nice and fantastic though, so there’s that. "
