"Check in was super easy. We arrived earlier than expected but were able to access our room. Location is excellent and an added bonus of secure parking. One little thing we only had 1 pillow each and would have preferred 2, but apart from that great stay. Didn't have breakfast."

"A good hotel. My room was clean and comfortable, but was on the top floor (attic space), up two flights of steep, narrow stairs - challenging if you have mobility issues. The bathroom - especially the shower, was excellent. Parking is in the adjacent small public carpark, which is convenient...as long as you can find a space. You can get a discount for parking fees through the hotel (it cost me £7 for 3 days). Overall, I recommend the hotel."

"The location was perfect for morning strolls. The square around the hotel gets very busy during the day, but night and morning slowed down quite a bit. Very nice to get up and wander in the morning without the crowds. "

"Amazing stay! The hotel is fantastic in the countryside with a great walk around with great views. The room was modern and decorated beautifully to match the building architecture. The pub has a great vibe and the restaurant food was delicious (just note no dogs in the main restaurant) and service is great. Our room was quite warm which meant not getting 100% and as it’s a pub it can be noisy in the evenings/night. "

"If you want delicious food in the evening and a bed for the night in a pretty village, then you won’t be disappointed. Staff were friendly too. However the room was tiny and very dated and the en suite was not much more than a cupboard, soundproofing is very poor. Breakfast was a little bit Fawlty Towers, I was told a flat white wasn’t a problem but was given a cup of black coffee,Asking for hot milk seemed to be disconcerting. Toast was forgotten, there was no salt, pepper or jams and...

"This was a perfect base for our Cotswolds weekend away. The old inn is full of character. Yes, that means lots of narrow stairs and uneven floors but it’s quirky and charming. In our room at the top of the building we had gorgeous wooden beams and window seats overlooking the town square. Small bathroom. Free WiFi and a smart TV so we could log into our own streaming accounts. There’s parking at the back which is a bit tight but very convenient. We booked dinner for our first night and had a...
