"It would have been nice for the staff to have advise us our arrival about road works and road noise right outside our window. We could have asked for an alternative room. Also not a good advertisement with ear plugs for you if needed."
"Room was modern and spacious, immaculately clean! Beds so comfy! Whole building was well looked after, loved the ease of check in. Breakfast room was a bonus we didn't expect! Easy to find and cheap parking outside the front door. Would highly recommend. Absolutely faultless!"
"The location is excellent for the castle and cathedral. It’s an old building and therefore not ‘flashy’ but it has character.
We received a friendly welcome and the staff team were very helpful.
It’s a great base for visiting the old town. We did not have the time to see the town down the hill.
You may have to park in the car park opposite and pay, as the hotel car park is quite small but there is space to drop off a guest if needed and then to park."

"Rooms are very tired, dated and not standardised, carpets very dirty in rooms. Television reception was so poor that made viewing anything not possible. Wifi worked, not all televisions were smart in that couldn't view streaming services. Some rooms still have single glazing, meaning cold and very noisy. The kitchen was okay but missing many things like bowls, poorly equipped. Entrance was unlit, making later arrival difficult as unable to see entrance and unable to enter code. Cleaning...
"A very clean hotel the staff were extremely helpful, friendly couldn’t do enough for you. The continental breakfast was ample with plenty of choice. The food was also very good for evening meal.
The front rooms could be noisy due to traffic. The hotel bar and restaurant is closed on Sunday night."

"Excellent site with lots of things to do. The accomodation was clean and very airy. The location was ideal for us as it was near the end of Conningsbury runway which was one of main reasons for our visit. Nice bars, a little pricey, but a good choice of ale's and cocktails.
No late partying which was good. Great location for all of the various visitor sites and airfield's. Good for getting to Lincoln also."
"The room opens directly onto the carpark, which was great as it made it easy to unload/load the car, also we could keep the door open so cool down the room (it was hot when we stayed). The staff were friendly and helpfully. Each nigh we were asked to prebook our breakfast, stating what time we wanted it, the following morning the breakfast was waiting for us perfectly cooked."

"Friendly bar staff. Food was good. Chef’s night off and they still made dinner, although they did make us feel a bit guilty for having a friend join us who lived in Bourne. Quiz night, so good fun. Room was clean but bathroom was up some steps which was a bit tricky in the middle of the night. Rooms were quiet. Had a good sleep."
