"We had a wonderful stay at Bobcaygeon Resort! The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and has a very nice, relaxing ambience. The host was also very responsive, and communication was fast and easy, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
My daughter especially loved sitting by the fire at night, making our stay even more memorable. The location is also convenient, as it is close to downtown Bobcaygeon, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, explore the area, and easily find places to...
"My wife and I stayed at the Westwind Inn this past weekend and were disappointed by both the value and customer service.
When we arrived, the parking lot was nearly empty. We learned only 3 of the Inn's 32 rooms were occupied Friday night. Due to issues with the Inn's website, I had to book through Expedia and was assigned a woods-facing room. Given how empty the property was, I asked about moving to a lake-view room. Although many were available, I was charged an additional $75 per night plus...
"I went as a solo traveller in fall on a work trip. I was upgraded to a room with a porch and a view. The staff were excellent. I had dinner one night in the restaurant and the food and service was very good. My room was very comfortable. I would like to go back in season and stay in a cottage."
"Traffic on highway 35 was dangerous and loud at times. Cabins were clean and well kept. Staff responded quickly to a minor problem to a window when we reported it."
"The hosts were gracious, generous and helpful with ideas of things to do and see in the area. The river view from our room was beautiful and peaceful."
"Although the staff we encountered were fine and the lake view is beautiful, the condition of the "cottage" we stayed in was terrible. It had not been renovated and apparently not recently occupied. It had cobwebs, spiders and bugs (some should be expected given its location) and the walls and floor were quite dirty. The rate was what would be expected at a five-star resort, which this is not. "
"The room was dark and dingy and had pluming issues , not only are room but the entire resort to bad because the resort has a nice beech and beautiful view of the lake . I would have to say the rooms are tired and in need of an up date . Hey that's just my opinion but I have to say I've been there 4 times I guess it's the views and the call of the loons that get me every time ."
