"The pluses first: the location and ability for parking is excellent. The outside terrace is wonderful, but would be better if we didn't have to share it with parked cars. Reviews are all about the views - make sure you book a room with a view - we didn't have one and looked out over the garage/parking area, this was very disappointing as there was not indication on their site about booking a room with a view. The bathroom is tiny, but was excellent with a great shower. The breakfast was good and great that you could have it outside on the terrace (amongst the parked cars). I enquired about how to work the aircon in our room - was told to open a window as the fresh air was better for me! There were no extra amenities, not even a bar of soap for the shower! This is the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in - all night from 3am there was a generator running, then the rubbish men at 6.30am and on it went! Didn't have a good sleep the whole 3 nights we were there. If it wasn't for the location we would never have continued to stay there. Suggest you bring earplugs - this would help with the sleeping. If you go prepared, it would be a good stay."

"The staff spoke excellent English and were friendly and helpful. The room itself was very clean if a tiny bit tired decoratively but the amazing view from the balcony more than made up for it. The bed was comfy, the linen spotless and the aircon excellent. The items in the mini fridge weren’t too overpriced (€1.50 for a water) and there were plenty of towels and loo roll as well as complimentary toiletries. It’s a great location.. within easy walking distance from the gates to the Old City and the bus stops/car parks. All in all excellent value for money and I wouldn’t hesitate to return."
