"Hospitality was on point--receptionist helped us book our airport taxi, recommended some great eats. Location was sublime--15 mins walk to Poetto beach, 5 mins walk to a grocery store, lots of great restaurants and cafes nearby, plus near many bus stations as well. One criticism from me is the hotel creaks and have a lot of sounds, i.e neighbour flushing, clanking in vents/walls, etc. I am a heavy sleeper so no issue for me but may pose a problem to light sleepers. "The address given is Via G Peretti 10 but should in fact be 11, which means finding it by satnav was difficult, we had to phone the hotel. Staff at reception in the morning were very cold and off-standing."

"Unfortunately we should've taken note of the poor reviews. A very disappointing experience. It seems the hotel is slowly improving its rooms but we unfortuately had a hill view room which was disgusting.It should not be given out to paying guests. Mouldy bathroom,loose wires from extractor fan,lingering smokers smell(smoke alarm covered by a shower cap!) and soiled sheets. We had booked for 5 nights but after arriving late and a very uncomfortable night fully clothed we checked out at first...

"The beach resort is a step up from glamping, nice layout very well maintained gardens, pool is really fabulous and you can walk to the beach we’re you have access to a sunshade umbrella and beach beds. The beach like most in Sardinia is amazing clear water and great snorkelling. The resort is geared towards local tourism, mainly italian coming over with their cars. While the accommodations are clean they are well worn and can do with an upgrade. Very basic service get got clean towels and sheets...

"This stay was made by Antonio, who in spite of our non existent Italian provided all of the information we needed for an amazing visit to Villasimius! Hotel is in a central but quiet location with immaculate accommodations, a lovely terrace, amazing welcome from Antonio and Barbara, and excellent recommendations for hiking! We booked a second night thanks to Antonio who even drove us to the start of another beautiful beach hike! Couldn’t ask for a better or kinder host. Thanks again Antonio!"
