"Very unexpected pleasant staff and facilities "

"Our room was very updated, nice, clean and comfortable. My only complaint was charged $ 7.50 for 4 one ounce bags of Fritos, Doritos and Cheetos I thought were just complimentary."

"Hotel stay was great. Staff was/is phenomenal & helpful. My only issue(s): 1- only one ice machine worked and it was on the 1st floor. 2- “Door #3” didn’t read the room key to let me in the door. 3- pictures show microwave in rooms, however that’s not the case."

"We stayed here last year and had a great experience so we decided to stay again this year. Again, the hotel and staff were beyond outstanding. A HUGE shout out to Jasmin at the front desk who assisted us with getting a last minute room for my niece and her three little ones after a terrible day of being stranded. We will never be able to thank you enough for your kindness!!! Everything about this place is great and we will return again anytime we are in town."

"The Hyatt was good, but there was one thing that was disappointing. On our 2nd day there, the power went out and apparently there was a small fire, requiring us to vacate our room. Apparently this was the 2nd time this occurred within 2 weeks. The fire dept was there and we had to wait outside for almost an hour while the issue was addressed. This is not the fault of the Hyatt, but since we missed much of the breakfast time, it would have been nice if they extended their breakfast time, even a...

"Clean rooms and friendly staff. Need better parking "

"Overall a nice stay. Some things were kind of stained, but not necessarily dirty. Just stains gave the impression of dirtiness in the room/in the dining area. The staff was great and the location is very good."

"This hotel was very, very clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and I liked the added touch of lemon or lime ice water in the lobby at all times. And, I have to say that the shower may have been the best I’ve ever had as far as water pressure. It was amazing."

"Big bathrooms and big beds"

"Hotel was very clean, beds were comfortable. Our room was right by the elevator and I was nervous that I would be hearing activity all night but it was peaceful. I’m subtracting a star because we weren’t able to adjust the thermostat and the room was warmer than we prefer. There is a convenience store and Starbucks right next to the hotel. I recommend the Treehouse Pub and Eatery which is very close by. "

"Loved the vibe and aesthetic of The Element. As a native Quad Citian it was great to see this awesome reuse of the building. The room was much smaller than I expected but beautiful. We needed the pull out bed and it wasn’t the best. Be ready for hearing live music (totally didn’t mind) and also the train (felt a little different about that!) But the breakfast was a total surprise - restaurant-quality, fresh and amazing. "
