"Hotel is in a great location - just over 15 minute walk to the train station, close to shops and the Cathedral - looks like the downstairs has been elegantly renovated. Beautiful newly-refurbished bedroom, with some really thoughtful extra touches - such as a rubber bathmat and handrail, electric fan, suitcase stand, and biscuits every day with the tea and coffee. "We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the room was extremely large, bathroom extremely small and dated. Amazing view from the bedroom we sat and enjoyed the view when the weather was rather unpredictable Good parking Food good standard, restaurant lacked character and atmosphere but the staff were excellent very friendly"

However the Expedia booking did not state that ,nor did the information sent to the Porters Lodge. The charge was though only £5 pp."
