"Good location walkable distance to CittCity Centre and train stations. We selected a room with a balcony that can see the Matterhorn but it’s a big pity that there is a construction crane in the foreground during our stay. Breakfast area is very cosy."
"4 min walk from train station. Make a right out of train station. Second side street after McDonalds. Not located on main street. Breakfast, check in and out out of Hotel simi which is at the end of the same street on right side, 10 sec walk. Excellent stay.
Matterhorn was white out and has free bus to hotel. About 30 min if you walk. But we did train Gornegrat. Leaves from train station. Dont miss the zoom and virtual paragliding up there. Trains every 20 min."
"My wife and I had an amazing time during our visit here! It’s conveniently right next to the gondola to take you to Lake Oeschinensee! We also loved using their private Sauna. The staff was very helpful and the room was amazing!"
"Really great experience staying in Zermatt! Medium distance walk from the train, still very easy. They do offer transportation for a very reasonable fee. My room was advertised as having a Matterhorn view, did it ever!! I opened the curtains, and there it was! Perfectly framed in the doorway. I could see it from the bed as well. Very generous breakfast each morning. Lovely patio with abundant flowers.
I will definately stay here on my next trip to Zermatt.

"Excellent stay from start to finish. Spacious, clean and comfortable room with excellent breakfast provided. All staff really helpful and can't fault our stay. Thank you!"
"The hotel was very charming and well-located. However, there is no staff on site at all. You need to go to another hotel (3 minutes walk away) to speak to someone. Restaurant was supposed to be on site, but it was closed. Breakfast was to be served from 7-10:30 each morning but at 8, the food ran out and wasn’t going to be replenished (a large tour group apparently ate everything before the rest of us woke up). Room was beautiful and very cozy but the beds were really hard. Pillows were...
"The solo traveler room I booked was clean, comfortable, cozy, and safe. And the panoramic views of Mount Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau - BREATHTAKING!
As for the hotel owners and their staff, they were extremely friendly, helpful, and made me feel welcome and comfortable before I even arrived. I hope to bring my family back to this magical place one day and we would definitely stay at the Hotel Edelweiss again! Highly recommend!"
"Great location, right across from the train only a minute walk. There are lifts for your luggage. The breakfast was good. I made the reservation same day as I was going and there were no issues. I’ll stay here again for sure!"
"Lovely hotel, great location and perfect for visiting Zermatt!
We arrived at the hotel later in the evening and found it to be in a very convenient location, just a short distance from the train station where you can catch the shuttle train to Zermatt. Parking is also available at the hotel, which was a great bonus!
We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the hotel had kindly arranged a lovely little display in our room for our arrival. It was such a thoughtful touch and made...
