"I recently stayed at ibis budget Melbourne CBD and found it to be a decent option for a short stay. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. The bathroom setup is a bit unusual cuz the toilet is separated from the shower area, and instead of a proper door for the shower, there’s only a curtain located outside near the sink and shower space. It works, but it may feel a bit awkward if you’re sharing the room. There’s no microwave in the room, but guests can use a shared one in the dining area, which is convenient enough. Laundry facilities are available as well, though limited and there are only two washers and two dryers, and each use costs $5. Overall, it’s a practical and budget-friendly stay with clean rooms, but a few design and facility limitations to keep in mind."
