"Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant...

"The check-in process was smooth, the host was very welcoming - the features of the room and service were explained in full. The room looked and smelt beautifully clean. All the amenities we could have wanted were provided. Great shower, complementary toiletries and a super comfy bed with top quality linen! Check out was hassle free. The rooms are above a pub and the courtyard below can get quite lively but it didn't disturb us too much. The only thing I would like to see is a private courtyard...

"The room was a bit small for 3 adults. We had limited space for placing our suitcases. The bed sheets were not white in colour which made me feel that they were not clean. Also surprised to find that we were only given small tubes of shampoo for 3 adults to use for two days at the beginning and there was no shower gel. The staff they were still waiting for delivery of the showergel. Luckily we got the shower gel on the second day. The shower cubicle was very small and the water from the shower...

"Simply beautiful, staff could not do enough to help, check in was easy and quick. Stunning location and a small village a short stroll away. Room was clean and adequate with all tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is continental with other options available to purchase. We had a full Welsh breakfast and avocado on toast and it was amazing. All topped off with stunning views would definitely recommend and visit again."

"The caravan was beautiful and very well equipped. We had a lovely view of fields with sheep in and mountains in the distance. It was in a perfect location only a 3 minute walk to the beach. The children made use of the play park and the swimming pool. It was a short drive into the centre of Barmouth. A lovely stay."
