"Fantastic location and really welcoming and friendly staff. The room does what it says on the tin - it’s really well designed for its size with everything you need - perfect for a solo traveller. The vibe in the hotel felt good and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I’d definitely stay again next time I’m in Bath."

"This is a charming hotel with a lovely view of the river, the weir and green fields and hills. The working water wheel is especially appealing. Very peaceful and quiet, but only minutes from Bath City Centre, either walking or via convenient bus stops. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, pleasant place to stay."

"The hotel smelled of humidity. The TV in the room didn't work. I went to change the remote control 4 times. Finally, I asked them to test it in the room to see if it worked. They put the remote control down and left. I went upstairs and the TV still didn't work. Since I can't sleep without a TV, it was important to me. The hotel is definitely not worth the price they are asking. And they are especially asking for extra parking from the customers who have already stayed"

Cons: Not the warmest reception from staff aside from the last day when we met two really friendly ladies. We were in a garden room which was nice enough inside, however, the glass wall/window were so exposing that you had to have the curtain pulled across the entire time. "Perfect place to stay for Bristol trip. Stayed 2 nights and couldn’t fault it. The rooms were spotless, the bed was comfy, and the shower was hot with great pressure. Staff at reception were super friendly and gave us great local food tips. The location made it easy to walk the local retail park and train station in 12 min. Breakfast has everything you need to start the day. Special thanks to customer assistant for her support during checking in. Great value - will book again next time I visit...
