"We travelled by train, trasped with our heavy suitcase through the pouring rain to the hotel and asked, not for an early check-in, we were a good three hours early, just simply for somewhere to leave our case so that we could go out and explore. It was a resounding no. Consequently, we didn't spend another penny, not even a drink at the bar. A massive hotel like that and they can't even provide a room for luggage until check-in. "Reception was nice enough (decorated as a Santa’s grotto before Halloween) but the room was grubby. Floors were on slopes as you walk around, enough so that the drawer doors of the bedside cabinets kept opening open there own ! There was also a strong smell of the bathroom as you walked in the room. We asked to be moved but were told no rooms available. I’m glad we only had 1 night here."

"5 Star all the way, the guy on reception couldn't do enough for you, truly excellent."

"A great place to stay. Very comfortable rooms, extremely friendly and helpful staff, excellent food. Some tasty beers on offer in the bar as well. Plenty of car parking. Will definitely be using Manor Court again. Thanks for a lovely stay!"

"Room was clean and tidy, good amenities especially with the small fridge in the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast had a good choice and served very quickly. Ample parking at the rear of the building. Good choice of evening meal, only sorry we weren't there on Sunday for the carvery. Great location in a beautiful small village. Would recommend and stay again."

Disappointed by the most bizarre room which had a full size stainless steel kitchen segregating a reasonably nice bedroom from the large but rather odd bathroom (which also housed the wardrobe). Had its own ‘orangery’ and small garden. Loads of blinds to close, some of which were broken and the orangery outer doors had no blinds. Open plan so couldn’t make it completely dark… luckily had my eye...
