"The room was lovely and clean, missing a shelf in the bathroom but otherwise in great condition. We found the mattress to be too hard but the room was quiet with a nice view from the window. Breakfast was nice and the dining room wasn't crowded, the only thing missing for us was fried eggs. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the ships and Gunwharf Quay shops, cheap/free parking was another bonus. We would return to this hotel."
"The hotel is in a great location for Arundel and the local area.
The staff are really nice. The dinner and breakfast were great. We had a wonderful stay! Thank you to the whole team. Regards Richard"
"Only some of the rooms have air conditioning units, and unfortunately, not only was the one given to us without AC but also it had been baking with the windows closed and the shades open for provably multiple days based on the heat of that room. It was car-in-the-sun hot. After trying to cool it down for a couple hours, they moved us into a room with AC. So I was really thankful for the switch, but probably would’ve been better if they had closed the shades and opened the windows to avoid the...
"I was nervous, booking a room which was so inexpensive.
But DELIGHTED with the hotel. Yes, there were reasons the price was low, but FOR ME, it was an *excellent* hotel.
Enormous room by modern standards. All fixtures and fitting working 100%. Very friendly, helpful, professional staff. Lovely towels, bed linen. Immaculately clean, new, fresh.
Delightful location. Stunning NT woodlands and "Devils Punchbowl" only 500' from the hotel. WONDERFUL play area for kids... all manner of things to...
"The condition of the room was dreadful. Tatty, tired, worn, scruffy, grim - not somewhere you would want to spend time and definitely not priced to reflect this. We would have been disappointed had it been half the price. I will say that the cleaning staff did a good job as our room was clean at least and it must be difficult to make a room like this clean. However the duvet cover was torn, the carpet was worn, the paintwork chipped and flaking, bathroom very basic. The whole thing needs...
"The room was decent, the bar was good and so was the breakfast … however the latte machine was broken. We dined there one evening and my husband commented that the duck was very good. The wifi was good. Good location to the train station, pubs and the Navy Museum, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior."
"Located in the historic centre of Chichester, the location is hard to beat. The staff were friendly and helpful. The check-in desk is in the pub, which has a limited evening menu, but there are plenty of eateries within short-walking distance. The rooms are quite large and charmingly named after past cathedral bishops. The pub can be noisy to the early hours as it also functions as a night club. If you're noise sensitive, another venue would be a better choice. If you're into clubbing, then it's...
