"This is a great family-run hotel whose owners and family work their socks off to ensure you have a nice stay. The highlight of the hotel is restaurant and pub, which serves really lovingly prepared meals using local ingredients, good portions and honest prices. The staff are all really friendly and there’s a great choice of local beers and whiskeys to try. Of course, its location just in front of the port with its ferry terminal and bus centre is also a highlight too - just roll out of bed...

"Perfect stay! Conveniently located a 15min walk from Kirkwall centre, and plenty of free parking at the property. The room was spacious, well furnished, clean, and a comfortable bed. Fyona was an excellent host; warm and friendly full of knowledge. Breakfast was delicious, setting up perfectly for whatever the day brought."
