"The room was clean. Parking was easy and plentiful. I left at 5:00am in the morning so I didn't experience the breakfast, looked like it was going to be great. All the staff except for the overnight person was very helpful and kind. At 5 in the morning and have 4 guest leaving and 2 new group guest coming in seemed overwhelming for a solo staff person at the front desk"

"I enjoyed my stay. Don’t book thinking it will be upscale, it has its moments but it is charming in its own way. Our view of the city was nice but the windows had water stains. However, compared to other hotel prices in the area, I’m not complaining. Don’t expect a quiet area as it is downtown so the streets are loud at night. My only issue was the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night and middle of the day when we were recovering from being woken up that night. Both were false alarms...

"The rooms were clean and was appropriately stocked with amenities. The fridge wasn't working and I told the front desk before we left and they waived our parking fee. The staff were helpful and kept a package for me that was sent there a few days before. The Batch Brewing Co and Folk brunch cafe were all walking distance which is a plus if you're looking for good eats around the corner. I would stay here again when visiting Detroit."

"The room was absolutely ridiculous the vinyl flooring was lifted up to where I nearly sliced the bottom of my foot open. The bed was terrible and the shower hardly has any water pressure at all. Most of the rooms are vacant. Not because people have not rented them it's because they are completely destroyed and in need of serious renovation and I would even say demolition. "Overall, the hotel was decent for the price. It’s a little run down in some areas, but the room was clean and the breakfast was actually pretty good with enough options to get the day started. One big thing to note, avoid getting a room near the vacation club area if you want to sleep. It was very loud and hard to relax.
