"We booked here as we were taking a cruise. The room was comfortable. There are no luggage racked so cases are placed on the floor. This room was a disabled room, with emergency cords to one side of the bed. Saying that, the side with the cord was super narrow to access the bed, there is no way a wheelchair can access that side. No bathroom soaps. It was ok but not polished."

"Truly amazing hotel overlooking the lake. This is by far my favourite hotel to stay for the views, the comfort and the tranquility. Just bliss!"

"Thatcher's is a great place to stay. It is a good, comfortable hotel, with wooden beam roofed restaurant. The breakfasts are pretty good, with a decent pot of tea included too. The rooms are comfortable and about right temperature-wise, it was a bit chilly in the evenings, though it is UK. Staff were very good in all areas of the hotel. There's a petrol station next door with shop, though there's also a village shop & PO about 10 mins down the next road which has things to buy and is also less...

"We enjoyed the service, food, bar, and even a jazz concert on the property. If you’re depending on the WiFi capacity in the guest rooms, you need to check with staff to make sure you can get it. But an overall, very pleasant stay. "

"We've stayed at this hotel several times now and have never been disappointed. All the rooms we have been allocated have overlooked the river and one has a lovely balcony. Service has always been very good with the staff being friendly and helpful. Breakfast has plenty of choice and the cooked breakfasts are fresh and tasty. We have also had a couple of meals, again, these have been very nice. Never had a problem parking the car in the hotels allocated spaces. Overall i think this hotel offers...

"Clean room with ensuite. Bed very comfortable, with only one pillow was included per person. USB socket for charging by bed, along with a double plug. Only downside was that the mirror was in the bathroom and the plug for the hair dryer the other side of the bed."

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in the Mansion House which had a lovely rustic feel but was also very clean and modern. The whole site had a lovely feel and the other building with the pool etc looked very modern and also had some nice cosy seating areas. We didn't use any facilities but had a look around and everything looked brand new! Would love to stay here again. "

"About what I expected from a hotel of this profile - larger accommodation than I expected from the photographs. Didn't really do much other than sleep there before an early start (too early for breakfast) to get to Brooklands for the Brighton Classic Car Event. Very happy and will return. "

"We were at the hotel only for one night so we didn't see much of it. There's a very convenient parking area. The rooms are a decent size and quite comfortable with free water and a coffee machine and pods, a boiler and tea. The bathroom, especially the toilet were rather dirty (we were in room 1). "

"Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. I arrived 15 mins after the restaurant had closed but they still welcomed me in for a great evening meal. The room was lovely with a four poster bed and small, secluded lounge area. No complaints about any part of the booking or hotel"
