"Terrible. Mold and damp on the walls. Clear water damage. Mold on the windows. As soon as you walk in the room its so damp the air feels thick. Please avoid. I booked 2 nights here but couldnt stay because of how unfit for purpose the rooms are. I got told they will personally contact me for refund details within 24 hours. Its been 2 days of radio silence. Please avoid if your health is your priority."

"The staff were brilliant and extra helpful. My room had a solid full length concrete (possibly load -bearing) pillar right in the middle of the room between the bed and the table. Very very strange. The bed was less than comfortable as if coils were sticking into my back. If my stay had been longer than one night; I would have changed the room. Although the staff made it a pleasant stay, I won't go back."

"The hotel could benefit from some modernisation, as parts of it are looking a little dated. My main concern was the location of Room 227. It was a very long walk from reception and quite difficult to reach. Fortunately, I wasn’t travelling with a suitcase; otherwise, getting to the room would have been much more difficult. Better signage or assistance with luggage would have been appreciated."

"We could not have chosen a better hotel. Kat and her team are amazing. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Despite this being a pub the room was lovely and quiet. Food was delicious with lots of options. Breakfast was out of this world excellent. Location couldn't be better as it is right opposite the railway station. All in all a great experience. "this hotel is in a great location, right on the seafront a couple of min walk from the pier and only a 5min walk from the town centre. the rooms are large, and well equipped with a table and chairs, dressing table, large double bed and wardrobe with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board in the room also. the downside is that the hotel could really do with having some investment, while everything worked in the room it is dated and somethings in need of repair/upgrading. the shower curtain for...
