"The unit itself was clean & functional. What I disliked was I booked a unit with private pool & paid extra yet was unable to utilise the pool as it was very dirty with tissues & debris. The water & surface was also not clean. I did let them know & have followed up with a request for a refund of the extra I paid but no response over one week later….."

"This is a small lodge with only 4 huts, so it's a wonderful experience if you want to escape the Kruger crowds. Accommodations are comfortable and well maintained. Food is amazing; home cooked with a fantastic attention to detail. Owners are friendly and engaging. Highly recommend taking the optional game drive with the owner; you won't regret it. Overall a great value for the money! "

"Just needed a place to stay the evening before departure. Ended up being much nicer than expected in a gated community. Evans took us to dinner and picked us up at The Hat and Creek (also highly recommend) and to the airport the next morning after serving us a delicious full breakfast. Propetier Josef was very nice as well."

"The room was very small but adequate for a stop over but I did expect a little bigger. Was also clean and we were not at all cold. But it doesn’t really feel like a “guesthouse”. A) it seems more like they just built some rooms in their backyard and accommodate people for extra money - there is no breakfast option etc. but mostly B) the hostess was really not friendly and did not make us feel welcome at all.
