"This hotel is like a Super 8 in USA. Cheap furniture etc. Receptionist was missing when we showed up. There was a machine that claimed to check people in so we started putting in our information etc and it just won’t do anything. Finally, the receptionist showed up and claimed that machine didn’t work. He checked us in. We paid almost $350 a night for the room, and felt it was too expensive for what we got."

"We couldn’t stay. Caked on feces in the toilet, very stained mattress with what appeared to be dried urine and dried blood. Hotel was fully booked so no other room was open. We had to find another hotel at 8 pm. Terrible experience"

"Now marketed as the Drum Hotel, Expedia should do the same and not use Drumnadrochit Hotel! The room was small for a twin room and very basic for storing clothes etc. Overall the staff were helpful on reception when asked anything about visitor attractions. We only ate one breakfast in the cafe. Would have preferred a proper breakfast room with more obvious element of being served. The cafe had no yoghurt so one breakfast was unavailable and as it was Bank Holiday the reason we didn’t eat again...

"The hotel is set in a nice location. Unfortunately our first floor room, as did many others, looked onto an internal roof area which was shabby and dirty. General decor was tired and dated. Food was ok. Could not fault the staff who were friendly and helpful. Room prices did not justify state of the hotel."
