"Nice stay"

"We checked in late at night and would have liked to have paid by cash but it was card only. Would have liked to have used a lift as I have a leg injury but understand that the hotel is old so it didn’t have one. The room & bathroom was modern with tea & coffee making facilities. The highlight of the short stay was the breakfast, for how little the breakfast cost was it was unbelievable value and very nice. All in all the one night stay was extremely good value for money. "

" Had a lovely room full of character, and the place itself is set in lovely grounds, check in was easy and seamless. The only minor gripe i would have, would be that at breakfast time which again was excellent, was that the baked beans seemed cold from the serve station. Apart from that very minor thing i would certainly recommend staying there, and i will again im sure"

"Sturdy room and bed. Clean conditions. Good water supply in shower. No problems at check-in. Wifi was not free. A popup window asked for debit/credit card payment details. I'd rather walk to McDonald's and use free wifi there (without risking my card security). Please install electrical power sockets on the wall beside the bed. It was difficult to operate an alarm clock and phone on the bedside table (needing a long extension cord across the room). "

"Location was a superb venue. Staff were great and friendly, room was comfy, clean and nice and it was a weekend with racing, so we enjoyed watching from the rooftop bar. 10/10 would go again! PS. If you get a chance, go to saracens for dinner and a drink. "

"We liked the friendly staff and they were very helpful especially the house keeper. It was peaceful and comfortable. Easy to get to from motorway and location good for Stratford Warwick and Birmingham. Could do with sprucing up a bit but good layout -bedrooms away from dining area and kitchen"

"Clean airy room, lots of natural light. Well appointed and in good condition, fruit and snacks provided in the room. Staff were friendly and professional, I was looking forward to dinner in the restaurant but due to an electrical issue in the kitchen (usually hotel speak for chef tantrum/illness) they could only provide sandwiches and salads. I was informed about this beforehand so I picked up something on the way, only to find out on arrival that it was open again. Never mind enjoyed the KFC...
