"Location is superb, 100 ft to Chippenham bus station, and leads than 10 minutes bistro from the train station. Room is spacious, so is the bathroom, big and renovated. Courtyard is nice. There is a leisure pool at site too. Huge parking lot at back. The buffet breakfast offered was full English style and truly great. Staffs were super friendly. I stayed here one night to visit the near by Cotswold villages, like Castle Combe, which was only half an hour away. If the windows could be upgraded and...

"I think this was the best Holiday Inn Express we have stayed in, and we’ve stayed in a lot world wide . Great welcome, room spacious and clean. A nice area to sit in in the evening, food was available and lots of people were eating, we just had a glass of wine . Breakfast was really good, great selection, fresh and good variety . "A nice pub but not a great place to stay when it's hot. No AC, which is fair enough for an old pub, but no fan in the room and, despite facing west, nobody had thought to close the curtains so the room was in full sun all afternoon and impossible to cool down. Opening the window just let in the noise from the road."

"Paid just under £200 for 2 nights accommodation. The room was of poor standard and not very well cleaned or maintained. Stains on the carpet, the tiles in the bathroom are cracked so made it unsafe to walk bare foot. The shower wasnt very warm and the spray went everywhere but me. The sink had a hole and cracks in it."

"The staff were extremely helpful when we suffered a bad experience with our food on our first night's stay. Stick to the basic meals on the menu, like the burgers and fish and chips! We booked a bed, breakfast and evening meal deal for 2 nights, to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but, on reflection, should have booked everything separately, because we would be over £100 better off!! Apart from being placed at the worst, and least private, table in the restaurant, we only had a limited menu...
