"We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom motel units for quick school holiday getaway. The room was very comfortable and clean. Kids loved the playground. We loved the hot tub. The kitchen is well-equipped but the pot and the pan were not in the best condition. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will consider staying again in the future."

The property is well maintained . The apartment is very well maintained although it is not a new unit still very much the 90s. If I had a gripe it would be they could have there own wifi as this does make it difficult to watch even the tv on the building hotspot and the tv is just a small after thought. "I was well cared for at the House with No Nails! The property is beautiful & clean, & in a gorgeous rural setting set amidst mountains, big blue skies, & farm animals. The house is an easy 25 minute drive from the Hobbiton set in Matamata, which was my plan while in this area of NZ. Highly recommended!"
"I would recommend staying somewhere else. Bugs everywhere in the room, especially when it was night. I stayed in room 10 which sits in the sun all day. There are no blackout curtains for all the windows so the room gets very warm. The water from the sink tasted like dirt. But worst of all, The husband that runs the motel is a rude and impatient human being. Stay somewhere else."
