"Nice hotel by the beach/ water in Xylokastro, with many restaurants and bars along the beach promenade. Very friendly staff. Everything was fine except that doors/ locks are noisy when you close/ open the doors, and the isolation between rooms are bad (like most hotels). Since it was low season with few guest, the noise mentioned above was no problem for us at night. Evening was very quiet."

"This hotel is in a perfect location directly on the sea shore. That is only good thing I can say. We arrived at 14.30 and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to arrive on reception to be told the room was not ready and to go away for an hour. When we returned we were showed our room on the ground floor which we booked as a family room with a sea view and it looked at the carpark. "Great spot. But pay close attention to the room you pick. Building D has very low quality rooms in a bit of an odd area of town that has a lot of construction happening nearby when we were there. "For two guys traveling staying in Nafplio the Pension Asimoni was perfect. The owner is so nice and keeps the place in such good condition. The bathroom was clean, the room was clean and had good A/C. It’s perfect for walking anywhere. We stayed 3 nights in Napflio and it was perfect to see everthing.
