"Lovely stay at Ardoe House. Loved the spacious room, comfy king sized bed, and clean and modern bathroom. Very quiet at night. Certainly not in the centre of things but that’s what we wanted. Only thing we thought could be approved on was the dinners we had in the bar- very average. Had the steak sandwich and the beef was chewy, and the pasta with tomato and beef sauce was very bland. (And we are not foodies!) Fish and chips were fine, and breakfast choices were good. "

"It was a lovely hotel. We were in the older part where there was quite a bit of water damage from the ceiling in the hotel room and the bathroom. Overall, it was nice, and I’d stay there again. "

Hotel seemed quiet but parking was overflowing with cars parked in random places, I assume people parking here and flying from airport. We were lucky to get a space. There were other cars parked on road outside with several parking tickets. Hotel was good but parking would put me off using it again."

"Centrally located, interesting town, liked that the beach was nearby. The shower temperature was very difficult to maintain. It was either too cold or too hot, and we could not figure out how to control it."
