When we got to our room there was no toilet paper, tissues, or soap and the front desk staff said they'd send some up ASAP, but we still didn't have any after we went downstairs for dinner and drinks. After we called again, someone brought us toilet paper. The room also could have used a fan as it got pretty warm at night."

"Staff were polite, breakfast good, bar price reasonable and spotlessly clean. Hotel seemed quiet but parking was overflowing with cars parked in random places, I assume people parking here and flying from airport. We were lucky to get a space. There were other cars parked on road outside with several parking tickets. Hotel was good but parking would put me off using it again."

Took off one star because there wasn’t a luggage rack, no where to put luggage but keep it on the floor. Also no bath mat to step on when coming out of shower. There were issues with the hot water in the shower. I should have spoken up sooner because on third night there was no hot water. They fixed it, took a little bit, but then after was much hotter. "Very friendly staff and owners. Comfortable bed and lovely breakfast. Bar is very well stocked with whisky(108 bottles) as well as other drinks. Definitely return if we are in the area."

"The hotel was in a gairly good location to the city centre. Only about a 15 minute walk to Union Street. There was no on site parking but you can park on the side street, close to the reception. Overall condition of the room was pretty good. The bed was a little uncomfortable, that could just be because of personal preferences. Bathroom was good but there was quite a lot of mold on the platform next to the shower."
