"The hotel is very conveniently located right on the shoreline of the Chiemsee & near the boats that ferry to the castle island. There is also a really good steakhouse (Maximillian) connected to the hotel. The beds & pillows are the most comfortable we've had in Germany. If you're staying in Prien am Chiemsee, this is the best!"
"We stayed there for one night prior to visiting Herrenchiemsee. It was a short drive (15 minutes) to the ferry.
The hotel is very rural. Breakfast was nice. Guests are given a table number for where to sit for breakfast which I guess avoids any issues with finding a clean table.
One slightly quirky thing, which we liked, was that each room had a golf club and ball to use a mini golf course in the garden.

"Tolle Unterkunft direkt in der Dorfmitte von Reit. Alle Mitarbeiter sind super lieb, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Das Appartement war sehr schön und geräumig. Wir haben auch für unser Kind ein Babybett sowie einen Hochstuhl zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen. Das Frühstück war super und man konnte sogar draußen auf der Terrasse in der Sonne sitzen. While at the hotel we spent time walking and hiking, and visiting nearby places such as the fortress in Kufstein. Every time we returned to the hotel it was a lovely feeling of returning home.
