"Wie immer war es ein sauberes, ruhiges Zimmer(die Geräusche vom Hof dahinter stören mich nicht :) ), das Frühstück ist phänomenal, das Personal sehr freundlich, war schon öfter mit meiner Familie da und kommen sehr gern wieder. "We stayed there for one night prior to visiting Herrenchiemsee. It was a short drive (15 minutes) to the ferry.
The hotel is very rural. Breakfast was nice. Guests are given a table number for where to sit for breakfast which I guess avoids any issues with finding a clean table.
One slightly quirky thing, which we liked, was that each room had a golf club and ball to use a mini golf course in the garden.

"What a lovely lovely guesthouse! We were there for a week, drawn there by the Tiroler Festspiele across the way in Erl, Austria. We didn’t know what to expect but were so pleasantly surprised. While at the hotel we spent time walking and hiking, and visiting nearby places such as the fortress in Kufstein. Every time we returned to the hotel it was a lovely feeling of returning home. It was so clean, comfortable and welcoming. The Schmid family was so kind and helpful. We loved the afternoons...
