"Convenient for our trip to Alton towers, unfortunately after the first night our bedroom wasn’t made, no clean towels or linen despite leaving the note to state we wanted our room made. We had to ask for new towels after getting back around midnight. Also, car park is extremely narrow and tight, would recommend parking in the private paid one next door. "

"I stayed for 4 nights. Staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and professional. Breakfast was delicious and dining space large I have given my review a 4* because of 2 things. The water pressure in the shower was very poor. Only strong enough when cold but adding heat made the water limp out of the shower head. The other important thing was the car parking. You are required to pay £5 per 24 hours to park on site ( this was waived in my case for which I was grateful) however, there is no...

"The hotel may be old and very historic, but is a great palce to stay when we go to the Opera House which is only a 2 minute walk away."

"We loved our stay here, the staff in particular are superb, they couldn’t do enough to help us which was even more appreciated given that we had our toddler with us. The rooms are beautifully decorated, quiet and large. My only criticism is that there was a bit of black mould around the bath/shower in our bathroom which needs bleaching, otherwise everywhere was spotless. We will be back for sure."
