The front desk staff we interacted with on several occasions, did not offer a gracious welcome or for that matter any smiles. I was asked at check-in if I booked room thru Expedia - not sure what that had to do with anything - but I wondered if that had anything to do with the location of our room and their attitudes? "First time we’ve stayed at this Hilton in downtown Asheville. Usually we stay at the Marriott. We were here only one night. The room was lovely and clean. It looked like it only recently been refreshed. The staff was very nice. We will definitely stay here again. "

"The staff was very nice and worked hard. They were on the spot for any needs and the room was clean. We had an issue with the toilet running but someone was there within five minutes to fix it. If you want a full service restaurant this is not the place to go. The bartender had kitchen equipment and a cold holding food unit at the bar to make the bar food. If anything was fried she had to go behind the wall to do it and the customers were left with no service. She did a great job and...
