"Breakfast is wonderful. The location is convenient. Anabel is very sweet and helpful. The only bug is the laundry facility. There’s only one washer and dryer. They’re locked inside a cross street locked building. And they don’t provide tooth brushes and slippers. Not even shampoo and conditioner. It’s a nice place to stay."

Hotel Cheminée in Zermatt is a small, nice traditional hotel, but our stay was highly inconvenient, especially given the extortionate price we paid. The hotel operates with very few staff, and the reception closes early at 9:00 PM. There is no lift on the property, which made moving luggage up to the rooms exhausting. "This hidden gem in Zermatt is easily accessible a few blocks from the train station. The staff was exception. The pool and spa area is amazing. They also serve an outstanding complimentary breakfast each morning. If I get back to Zermatt again I will be staying here and highly recommend the hotel.
