"Don’t be fooled by the photos. This property is 3 feet from a busy waterfront street with trucks, buses and cars passing 3 feet from your windows from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. It’s also directly across from the wharf where all the cruise ships bring their passengers all day long. The room is okay, but the location is anything but ideal "

"Property was lovely, quiet but central location. Walkable to restaurants, shops and I did walk to the grocery too (was a little longer of a trek but worth not pulling the car out again). Parking was a bit difficult as the carport is quite tight but it was nice to have reserved parking, and most things are walkable anyways, so not a huge issue. "Not quite what we expected .. lovely property, spotlessly clean, good location, good facilities e.g. fully equipped kitchen, nicely decorated But small room and noisy doing the day. also more lodgings than B&B with the owner sharing the communal space We paid for the two nights but stayed elsewhere Probably absolutely fine for others but not quite right for use, our fault really as it was our last two nights in lovely NZ and so should have booked something more appropriate"

"The cottage was cozy and comfortable. An easy location to walk to town and when the weather was nice we could sit out front with our happy hour wine and snacks and have a view of the town and harbor. The house was well appointed. It is an historic house, so those who like modern amenities may not be as comfortable. We loved the eclectic decore and charm of the cottage and found it had everything we needed.
