"The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Parking was easy. We were able to walk into town along the canal which runs along the rear of the hotel in 5- 10 minutes. Very enjoyable stay."

"Clean room, lovely bar, nice range of drinks. Nice sunday dinner, great atmosphere, log fire bar. Breakfast was the usual cereals etc, bacon, toast, sausage was Richmond (not my preferred). Nice fresh croissants and goot drink selection I have stayed before and will stay again due to price, location, lovely romantic stay"

"Hotel is really tired needs updating through out room very tired too,cutlery and cups dirty at breakfast,buffet breakfast was good tho,ordered smash burgers for lunch supposed to be double only singles came there was a venue on and the hotel was really under staffed heard the staff complaining about it too all in not very good,would I stay again..no"

"Exceptionally clean and comfortable room. Shower was great. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and tasty. Staff very friendly and helpful. First visit, won't be the last. Will be our 'go to' hotel when visiting family. Great 2 night stay, very reasonably priced. "
