"Linens could use some updating but the room was clean, bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Not fancy but a clean safe place to spend the night. Kathleen was lovely. Only negative for me was the stairs to my room. I am a 70 year old solo traveler and getting a suitcase up the steep stairs is a bit of a problem. No reflection on Kathleen because the house is charming… but not suitable for limited mobility."
"What a treat it was to stay here. A very warm welcome, clear helpful instructions to enter when we arrived a little earlier than expected.
The room is very comfortable with two easy chairs which is unusual. A coffee maker with a wide choice of pods plus a kettle with tea and coffee. Everything is spotlessly clean and good quality. We really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it."

The property was well priced ,finishes ,were immaculate , The property is very clean .The layout of the room even allowed for a separate seating area just outside our bedroom. This property had no TV, but was not missed because of the level of Wi-Fi available. The house is in a country setting, so of course convenience to amenities such as shopping or food should not be considered. This is very quiet location and very much appreciated after long days of...
"I booked 3 rooms in February, and arrived last night to find the place closed. The site was overgrown with weeds, and nobody around.
Had to find emergency accommodation nearby costing me stress and extra expense."
