"The Holiday Inn Express in Luoyang is a great deal. The hotel staff was warm and welcoming. My room was large and cozy and the bathroom was my favorite part (huge gym-style shower). The breakfast at this hotel is outrageously terrific! Every morning there was a delicious spread of Chinese and Western dishes to enjoy. I was traveling alone during this visit to see the Longmen Grottoes and I felt very safe and happy here. I highly recommend this spot!"

"Hotel is adjacent to a big muslin restaurant, very busy, restaurant and hotel guests shared the lobby and elevator. Room is clean and large, comfortable bed with air conditioner. Shower room needs an upgrade. Service desk lady told me that I can’t check in with passport, I need Chinese ID card, I told them I booked on Expedia and already paid. "Overall ok but the room stayed hot all night even with the air conditioning on, shower leaked out into rest of bathroom and while the ac was running, it smelled like someone was smoking right beside the air intake. Breakfast was good, proximity to the airport was good but the actual stay experience of sleeping was not the best."

"My buddy and I had a very pleasant stay. Hotel staff were helpful and cooperative. Nothing was too difficult for them even with their limited spoken English although my buddy speaks mandarin. Housekeeping efficient and helpful. Dongdajie station on Line 2 from the airport and taxi ride from this station is less than 10mins from hotel. On return to airport you may have to alight at one of the stations along this line and wait for train to the airport as not all trains terminate at the airport....
