"Nice, clean and very large room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good hotel which suited our needs."

"I misread the directions and ended up at the wrong door but a helpful man on the phone put me right straightaway. The room itself was great - clean and well-kept, comfortable bed, good kitchen facilities, good shower and the complimentary breakfast cereal and snacks were a nice touch. I had a very comfortable stay and will choose Winckley again."

"I booked while I was driving, drove 4 hours, got there with my son at 9 at night, wanted 50 pound cash deposit and didn't have my card to draw out so he told me to go."

"close to shops and bea"

"Nice place, great price and location with very friendly host."

"The room was clean and the heating was really good. There was no towels in the room and no tea/coffee this was corrected after a conversation. Overall a pleasant stay and I would use again"

"Decent size room. Comfortable bed. Walls a bit thin so can hear every noise and creaking floorboards. Pleasant enough room. Good value for money plus decent location close to amenities. Shame the derelict buildings on central drive around the corner but of course that's no fault of the hotel. Host very friendly and helpful. Good for people on a budget. Would stay again"
