"The room is very small and I would never stay again. Very cheap bed and mattress. I would rather stay in a hostel because you get a clean bed, clean mattress and clean sheets unlike here."
"Amazing hostel. I really enjoy my stay here.
Owner Glenn is so helpful, resourceful and kind to have a chat. The volunteers Kasia and Dan are lovely to talk with.
It feels a very cosy hostel, not too crowded, noisy and neither a party hostel. I was visiting for tourism and leisure and while many of the guests staying here for work or business, there were no issues.
And Glenn kindly helped to sorted out a minor issue in the room very effectively.
Just a note there is no stove but a microwave...
"We didn’t stay! As the hotel decided to cancel the evening before the Coldplay concert due to weather! What absolute rubbish. So disappointed and would never consider staying there again. Even paid upfront and booked months in advance. If I had have cancelled within 24 hours I would have been charged! We had to book another hotel which cost us above the odds just so we could attend the concert. A very upsetting and stressful experience. "
"Should not be a allowed to advertise as a guest house.
Carpet not clean in room and bedding was dirty so took our own blankets in.
Had to ask for tea as only 2 coffees and no milk which we had to pay for.
Had people knocking and shouting in the late evening"
"The hut was amazing & laid our really well. Unfortunately the cleanliness was not up to my standards. There was a squished fly on the coffee table & it required dusting considerably. The bathroom was clean though. We didn't see a member of staff the whole time we were there (2 days) & to contact anyone was difficult too. The hot tub was very nice, but for the money paid I would expect a daily refill of wood. We had to buy quite a bit more to use it. Lastly, they have a carpark for all cars....

Pub doesn't open till 4pm and No reply when I rang as I was going to be a little early. Room was lovely and clean. Had a small fridge and coffee and tea etc. Bathroom was just right, shower was good and it was spotless. Kudos to their cleaner. Lovely outside space to sit and drink and relax, with vending machine for can drinks and chocolate. Be aware there is not a shop in the village, the Granby does evening food and if...
"Quiet location in a well kept grounds. All staff appeared friendly and electric car charger available was a bonus. Was disappointed with Hot tub as had to buy additional wood at £10 a bag which was not stated. Also uncomfortably warm at night. They did provide a fan but no air con, we did travel during the Summer heatwave and was really difficult to sleep. Shower also had a unpleasant smell. Overall we had a great time in a good location close to multiple nearby beaches."
