"Chris & Victoria were very welcoming and friendly.
Gave us suggestions of where to dine and trips to take.
B&B was well maintained, room had everything we needed.
Breakfast was excellent, fresh, local produce, plenty of tea, coffee etc. nothing was too much trouble for them

"We recently stayed in the Westminster apartment for 4 nights and overall had a lovely experience. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed, clean in most areas, and in a fantastic location, making it the perfect base to explore the Lake District.

"When we entered the apartment it was so cold and took all night for the heat to warm up. It was not a pleasent first impression. The apartment was advertised to have a king sized bed and it was an extremely hard queen sized bed. The first plate and fork rhat I went to use were bith dirty. "This is a lovely cottage and the location is great. We had a fantastic stay in Windermere.
However, be aware that the street parking is only for an hour and so a paid carpark is needed, not free parking as advertised. I messaged Sykes Cottages about this issue twice and received no response so communication was unfortunately a problem. The cottage was also in the process of being cleaned when we arrived, despite this being after the check-in time."
