"Near to the station (& the High Street is almost on your doorstep). Great town & hotel is in easy reach of various attractions (maybe a lick of paint in the room wouldn’t hurt, but beds comfy). We went to a day festival at Vivary Park, which is a 15-20 min walk. It did rain, but everything dried out in our room overnight (Room 40 is above the Boiler Room). We used a fan & opened window.
Staff kindly stored our luggage, when we went to lunch before catching a train home. They don’t do food, but...
"I think it's a good place to stay whilst in Cardiff, rooms and toilets are fine, showers are a bit outdated but still ok.. Location wise is close to centre. And there isn't really staff around, but not needed cause everything is online and easy to check in and out. I'd stay there again."
"I didn't like anything about the hotel. I could not get in. You think everybody is computer smart. I emailed you before I went saying, what is a lockbox and how do I get my code. I never heard back from you. There were nobody at the hotel. I was knocking on the windows, the door The people living next door were trying to help me. I was there for over an hour. There was a massage on my phone, it said vue massage. I pressed on vue massage and it would not open, the people how were helping me...
"Friendly helpful staff, room was spotless and well maintained. A great sea view room, hotel close to all amenities, and bus stot directly oposite. Highly recommend and we will definitely return."
"Room was terrible very small could hardly walk round the bed. Shower had lots of Black mould no ventilation, the bed was shocking desperately need a new mattress, very uncomfortable, lots of cobwebs everywhere and because there were no windows you could open was very musty. Will not be recommending this place"

"Normal a cheap room doubled in price because of concerts. Over a gyros shop, which is has decent food and a discount for residents. Property is in need of redecoration , carpets etc… and can be noisy on the street side with single glazed windows. Shower leaked .. cold water tap loose .. tv remote not working ….a bit uncared for , BUT the bed and bedding was clean and towels ok.
For a normal one night stay it’s ok"
