"Great overall stay. Periodically , Front Desk was unattended and “emergency phone “ wasn’t answered. Otherwise , staff was great and building was clean for an older hotel."
"Our room was very clean and overall was a good experience to stay at Amber Hotel.
The property is located in walking distance to Main Street and the beach resort with ample parking space for guests driving to this place.
Room for improvement:
You would hardly see any staff present - only one bored person at the front desk who checked us in and disappeared later through the day and was never back and so the day after when we were checking out around 10:30am.

"We stayed at the Windsor which is the sister hotel to the Stratford. We stayed in a Queen standard room. The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. The pillows were also lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was teeny tiny. A wall hung sink with nowhere to put one’s toiletries. A very basic shower.

"The kiwi is fantastic, so cute and clean. That being said, the pool and hot tub area were pretty sad. The entire pool liner was lifting and the hot tub was dirty and cold. We weren’t there for the pool so this had no impact on us and we would definitely stay again"
