"Disappointing breakfast. But, motels are all the same."

"Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable in their job"

"Old outdated room and overpriced"

"Not good. I booked this room earlier this year when Univ of IA Homecoming dates were announced; rates are always raised, but this property seemed to be mid-price with above-average reviews. Disappointed at the state of this hotel, especially for the high rate they were charging. Desk and breakfast area staff were nice, but they seemed understaffed and ill-equipped to handle the Homecoming weekend crowd. There were lines of ppl trying to check in and out at the front desk. Floors and carpets...

"Amazing breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were terrific. Best hotel stay I have had in a while."

"Lobby smelled like pot. Hallways were super loud in the middle of the night. Beds were clean. Just really needs a building overhaul."

"Quick check in and check out"

"I am SO TIRED of hoteliers who spend money on updating rooms and then buy cheap BRICK HARD mattresses. How difficult is it to comprehend that people NEED A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP? No one wants to sleep on a brick at the Taj Mahal. Sleep Inn built a name on good beds. I used to select them specifically for their beds. I have not been in a comfortable bed in ANY SLEEP INN in years. Put the money into an orthopedically sound bed (and NOT memory foam - it's terrible for the spine, too)."

"Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a normal hotel breakfast, aside from broken beverage machines. It is noticed that the hotel is updating things however, there are several trip hazards in the floor tiles."

"Close to good dining and shopping! Clean, spotless bathroom!"

"Halfway to our destination, sad they only have breakfast on weekends."

"Hotel was nice and was quiet when we stayed. The room heater/AC was really loud though. Kept me up most of the night. Breakfast was okay, but seemed a little lacking considering the price of the room. No muffins or bagels, and the milk was just a gallon you had to use for your cereal which seems kinda odd."

"Convenient, clean and quiet. Good breakfast and pleasant, helpful staff."
