"Everything about this property was terrible. Not a safe neighborhood, very dirty, no updates. Worst was their shower, only hot burning water. I couldn’t take a shower."
"Good sized clean room with bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a shared lounge and kitchen area too. Excellent location for Luton airport, only about 7ish minutes drive. Off road parking was helpful too. Would highly recommend for an airport stopover."
"This is a fantastic little B&B. I stayed on my last day in London. The owner (presumably?) was very friendly and helpful, recommending things to do and places to eat, and checking on (and helping guide/setup) morning transportation to the airport. The breakfast was cooked fresh-- hot and delicious. The only con was the initial check-in, but the owner did say he was going to find a way to help with this. The sign on what to do is on the opposite side of the doorbell, easy to miss at night (or...
"Poorly maintained ripped carpets to stairways poorly maintained rooms Restaurant closed apparently for maintenance so breakfast is in a little room just off reception not enough places to sit so went out for breakfast due to these issues so cant comment on the standard of food on offer."
"Never I have I booked a hotel that doesn't have breakfast available, no staff even on duty until midday. We had to walk nearly 2 miles to a local shop just to buy breakfast things. Nowhere in any of the details of the hotel booking process does it say they dot serve breakfast. They even have a sign out the front saying 'bed and breakfast' they told me they stopped doing breakfast some time ago because they apparently didn't want to pay the extra wages. They should explicitly say there is no...
"Room was clean but very basic. Mattresses could do with being replaced as very worn. Air conditioning not working, replaced with a fan. Doesn't appear to have had any money spent on it since being an immigration hotel."
"Our stay at the Cherry Tree was a comfortable stay for a business trip. The checking in system was efficient and the notifications from the owners were received in a timely manner and were very helpful and friendly in manner. We will definitely consider staying again on future business trips."
"In quite a nice, quiet area of Watford, walking distance to the shops. Good onsite parking. Laundry facilities available, and EV charging too (but very expensive.) Indian restaurant and pub underneath, good food and value.
I stayed for 2 weeks in a single room. Crudely painted which was unfortunate as it made the room look dated and unkempt (someone has actually painted around a picture hanging on the wall...), when in fact it was actually very clean upon arrival. Cleaners appeared to be in the...
"Lovely people, clean room but the room was sooooo hot and the towel rail was permanently on. No way of switching it off. The fan in the room was also a bit dodgy with the lead."
