"We were originally booked at Capt Inn & Suites and since they were closing prior to our booked reservation, we were moved to Thomson’s Resort. Thomson’s exceeded my expectations. It was really decorated nicely decorated and felt homey. The view off the balcony of Boldt Castle was spectacular as well! My only two critiques was that our room was located up 26 stairs and we weren’t told that ahead of time. I have a bad back so the stairs weren’t helpful and we tried to avoid going in and out...

"I love this little motel! Has the old motel feel, but very clean. The man working the front desk. was extremely nice and polite. He turned the heat up for us in our room before we got there. .I feel bad I don’t remember his name. The price is more than reasonable and very close to town I will definitely stay here again."

Would have preferred a slightly more plush bed, it was quite firm for us and I would have preferred to have been able to talk to someone either upon check-in or when I called earlier in the day to let them know we would be arriving later. We were confused about the check out time as the site and the in-room binder stated 11 but the document with our key stated 10 and we didn’t how to request a later check out. But...

"We stayed in the Schitt's Creek themed room and it was amazing! The attention to detail was unmatched. A great stay for fans of the show. Besides the theme, the room was wonderful. Very clean and Pia, the owner, really does go above and beyond adding special touches that make the stay very enjoyable. We will be back again! "
