"The room was small, but otherwise perfect. Large freezer, higher toilet seat, plenty of lights. The breakfast would have been goid, but the hot trays were empty when we got there, and nobody was in the dining room to ask for service. The food was good when it finally arrived. I would stay here again, as the room itself was excellent."

A continental breakfast was served - it had a good hot and cold selection. The only issue was in the bathroom - the door would not close and the electric wall outlets were not working. "The Prince of Wales is a lovely historic hotel. It met most of our expectations. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and their nightly talks were entertaining. And you can't beat the views from the rooms, especially the lake side ones.The food was also delicious. Our only negative was that they did not have a coffee station for guests in the lobby. We felt that since there were no in-room coffee makers, this would have been a great addition, especially...

"Rooms are basic but very clean. Their Motto is Our rates are low but our standard isn't and i would agree with this. Not a place that i would want to stay a week in but for a couple days this place cant be beat."
