"A very kind receptionist was able to accommodate me in a brand new refurbished room,with a kitchenette facility,as a free upgrade,and at an earlier checking in. That enabled me to continue with the work in a peaceful environment,accompanied by the bird song throughout. Away from the bustle of the city centre,yet very close,within a walking distance,within this part of the conservation area. Definitely great potential there."

"My husband and I stayed here for 1 night and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The surrounding areas/gardens were kept lovely (especially the bunnies!). The towels, bed linen and pillows were all of good quality & our room was very spacious. Some TLC needed in areas such a grouting, limescale build up on the bath taps and chipped varnish on floor board but for the cost paid (£104) it was good value. "I stayed for one night. The room had been kept for me despite Expedia booking not passing my details on properly. The room was really spacious. Plenty of lovely human touches like a fruit bowl on the table and practical touches like USB sockets were a god-send to charge my electronic devices. Richard is very welcoming, helpful and friendly.
