"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel despite it being somewhat modest, lacking a proper lobby. However, the reception from and care by India, the property manager was exceptional. I was traveling alone and India made sure all was well with me and that I made myself familiar with everything. For a modest hotel in a pricey area this was truly comfortable and hospitable! "This is a property, that like the owners, is past its best. No buffet breakfast, its given to you on a plate. No self service coffee. Room decor is poor at best. Human hair on carpet tiles and skirting boards in room. Didnt bother staying for the second night."

"Really nice one. Peacefull and well mainted. i arrive after midnigh and leave early in the morning and i was easily arrange everithing with them. Bed was perfect and i rest very good. Room is clean, towels are nice and I am very satisfied."

"I travelled to the Tourotel expecting the worst given a lot of the reviews, and was pleasantly surprised and can only suggest those giving such poor reviews haven't stayed in ski accommodation before or hadn't looked at any of the photos. Yes it's basic (as are most ski accommodations), but they are well equipped (I've attached the inventory of the 2 bed apartment), and the mountain facing balcony rooms have the best view of any accommodation I've stayed in the alps. "A good apartment, nice sized rooms and well appointed kitchen (no oven though). Spa area very nice and standards in the apartments all good. Only downside is no internet in any of the apartments which is very poor in this day and age. It is located a little away from the centre, but a regular (free bus service) is at the road end, there is large supermarket a short walk away and several places to eat nearby including pizza takeaway. "Perfect location right opposite the main ski lift and next door to a ski hire shop. Breakfast is good and there is a generous sized guest lounge on the top floor and ski store in the basement. The staff are friendly and helpful. We booked the last and cheapest room on the first floor , it was just above a bar which played music until 11.30 every night - fortunately we liked their playlist. "

"This is a simple but cosy hotel in a nice location at the top of the old town of Bardonecchia. The quadruple room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, plenty of storage, a clean and functional bathroom. Parking on site and even a small playground for the younger kids as well as the garden. Breakfast buffet was also good. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay, just what we needed at the end of our holiday."
