"The room was dark … out dated … and in need of a brighter coat of paint …. But the bed was very comfortable and the bed linen clean The staircases were very narrow and very warm as there was no fresh air …. Just basic amenities in the room … Staff were very courteous but could have been a bit more pro active in clearing the tables in the bar and the bar floor …. We ate in the restaurant and the meal was excellent! It is very much a dog lovers paradise so be advised …. Public toilets were dirty...
"A very pleasant suite for a single older person with easy access to all facilities. Perfect for a short stay. I especially liked the bedside table with inclusive sockets for device charging. A smaller kettle to get access to tap would be good though necessity is the mother of invention. Bed was comfortable and suitable for a tall person. Excellent modern shower unit."

Beautiful apartment,
No communication when I was asking for wifi password as the TV was not working properly could not find the wi fi router, definitely not in the apartment. Just wanted to watch the final of the world Cup , went to the local pub instead The Goddard brilliant friendly pub.
The bedroom next to the bathroom part of the carpet was always wet after shower needs attention ASAP looks like a long term problem.
Apart from that its beautiful clean , would stay...

"our stay at the shepherds hut at the retreat was absolutely fantastic. Stunning location, full of character and charm. Loved be surrounded by, horse , donkeys and alpacas. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be returning here soon. Nicky and Jules "
