"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

Crossing the Taff Bargoed river Bridge Crossing the Taff Bargoed river between the lakes. These lakes were formed when the valley was reclaimed from the slag heaps which covered the valley. The river had been culverted through the village in order to fill the valley and enable development which made easier mining at Taff Merthyr and Deep Navigation Collieries.
