"Stunning location by the river. Remote and peaceful. Don't take a big car!!! Its a narrow track to the cottage!!! Well equipped kitchen. Lovely outside decking area. Comfortable lounge. Very helpful neighbours and hosts. Our only complaint was the very noisy boiler which woke the whole house up every morning !"

"We had a really lovely stay at Cardwen Farm, it’s a super holiday home with everything you could need. Lots of space and the gardens are beautiful. The farm house is very well positioned to visit all the nearby attractions and the local butcher in Pelynt was first class. Siobhan was a super host always responding quickly to messages and helped us with lots of local knowledge. We would definitely have no problem recommending and would love to return again. "We were put in a basement room with a view of back yard with dirty doors etc. .no hair dryer or Iron. Luckily we asked for one at reception but had to walk 100 yrds to do that. .door didn't close properly so could hear all noise. Toilet flush from next rooms was very loud. Also terrible creaking floorboards from rooms above. Parking was limited on street and was pay and display which was expensive for 24 hours. We were not far from beach so that was a bonus. Only stayed one night fr an occasion...

"This small house has lovely views over Looe and is a good base for exploring the area. The house though wouldn’t suit everyone. Access to the house is via a steep narrow staircase. The main bed is comfortable. The bunk though would probably only suit children. Certainly it would not suit someone who is heavy or tall. The house is quite well kitted out but anyone staying for any length of time would likely need to buy things like shampoo and soap. All we got were three small sachets for three...
